Application and measuring principle
Portable precision instruments for measuring thin films, with insulated handle.
Thickness gauges measure material or component thickness between defined contact faces. Depending on the version, different throat depths, measuring forces and analogue or digital displays are available.
Versions and technical selection
The main selection criteria are measuring range, resolution or scale division, measuring geometry, measuring depth and, where applicable, data output. The item variants are compared below with their technical values.
