Application and measuring principle
Built-in micrometers with 20 mm scale drum for gauges and machine tools.
Micrometers use a finely guided spindle and controlled actuation. This makes them suitable for repeatable external, thickness and special measurements with a clearly defined measuring geometry.
Versions and technical selection
The main selection criteria are measuring range, resolution or scale division, measuring geometry, measuring depth and, where applicable, data output. The item variants are compared below with their technical values.
- Measuring range: 0–50 mm
- Resolution: 0.01 mm
- Choice of 6 versions
Typical applications
Depending on contact faces and design, the product families cover standard external dimensions, wall thicknesses, grooves, gears, threads and series inspection. Reliable results require the measuring range and geometry to match the workpiece.
Advice, calibration and service
Ballbach assists with selecting the suitable version, assigning accessories and assessing the metrological requirements. For suitable instruments, we also provide repair and spare-parts service. A suitable factory calibration can be supplied together with the instrument. DAkkS calibration is available on request where the measurand and version are within the accredited scope.
