Internal measurement of large diameters
MICROTEST inside micrometers are designed for bores beyond the range of conventional three-point micrometers. The imported versions cover 30 to 1150 mm and are suitable for through bores, blind bores and short centring recesses.
Wide range per instrument
Each instrument covers a comparatively large span, reducing the number of individual gauges required when diameters change. Different measuring depths are available according to size.
Mechanical precision reading
The 0.001 mm scale provides a parallax-free reading. A 1 mm spindle pitch and ratchet coupling support fast, consistent operation. Carbide pins provide wear-resistant measuring contacts.
Setting and system extension
Range-dependent error limits apply. Reference gauges and extensions support setting and use on particularly large workpieces; extensions to about 1500 mm are available on request. Ballbach provides calibration, repair and application advice.
