Measure grooves and recessed diameters
ON and ONM reach grooves, recesses and measuring positions located behind a smaller entry diameter. The expanding probe is inserted in its retracted state and opened at the measuring position.
Large retraction travel
Standard retraction is about 10 mm; for larger diameters, versions with up to 20 mm are possible. This allows substantially recessed contours to be reached safely.
ON for fixed, ONM for changing tasks
ON is configured for a defined application range. ONM is more flexible and uses interchangeable measuring slides for different groove widths and diameters.
Comparative measurement against a reference
Before inspection, the system is referenced with a suitable master or setting device. Deviation from the target geometry is read on a mechanical or electronic indicator.
