Application and selection
The stock provides repeatable alignment against a workpiece edge. Select by grade, leg dimensions and cross-section.
Technical design
Unhardened special steel with finely ground testing and side faces. All 6040 grades are combined in one family.
Variants
Grades 2, 1 and 0 are listed with their differing cross-sections.
Handling and service
The stock and measuring faces must seat fully, cleanly and without burrs.
