Application and selection
Place the knife-edge straightedge on the surface or edge under test. A visible light gap quickly reveals deviations in straightness or flatness.
Technical design
The measuring edge is hardened and finely lapped. A hand heat guard reduces direct thermal influence. The design follows DIN 874.
Variants and use
Choose blued carbon-steel versions with non-glare inclined faces or matt stainless-steel versions. Both ranges cover 75 to 1000 mm.
