Compact measurement directly on the workpiece
TESA TWIN-SURF is designed for rapid roughness checks in incoming inspection, near production and in the laboratory. It can be used directly on the component or mounted on a stand using the 8 mm adapter.
Measurement and tolerance evaluation
Each parameter can be enabled separately and assigned upper and lower tolerances. Results are stored, the inductive stylus can return automatically, and the interchangeable stylus can be swivelled by 90°.
Measuring performance
The range covers Ra 0 to 50 µm and Rt 0.05 to 200 µm with a maximum traverse length of 17.5 mm and 0.001 µm resolution. One to five cut-offs and several cut-off lengths are available. The diamond stylus has a 2 µm radius and a measuring force of 0.75 mN.
Parameters and standards
The basic version evaluates common ISO 4287 and ISO 12085 parameters. DATA-STUDIO Premium adds further profile, bearing-ratio and Rk parameters.
Data and documentation
The standard model uses USB-C; the BT model additionally supports Bluetooth and an optional printer. DATA-STUDIO Basic is included for result management and reports.
Scope and accessories
The set includes a Ra 2.97 µm standard, SB51 stylus, 8 mm holders, charger, USB cable and software. Special styli and a 100 mm extension cover grooves, bores and recessed features.
